Acting as a selective enterosorbent, bentonite clay does not affect the serum concentrations of important vitamins and nutrient minerals in humans, while promoting healthy bowel motility. Bentonite clay has been shown to promote the diffusion of urea and uric acid from blood vessels to intestines, inhibit the absorption of urea and uric acid in the intestine, and assist healthy renal function. Our bentonite clay is harvested from large volcanic deposits in the Mojave Desert.
